Alice in Wonderland
I bought this game for my daughter, she liked the movie - enjoyed the Alice themed birthday party she went to and now was eagerly waiting to play the game! But wait the game card was not recognised, we first tried it her DSi and then in my DSi XL nothing, it was only recognised in the DS Lite. Obviously there is region coding somewhere in the online component of this game because it decided that our Australian DSis weren't allowed to play! Apart from the fact that it can only be played on the DS Lite or DS she quite likes the puzzles in the game but obviously we can't use all aspects of the game because she has no camera!

In Wonder Gameland
Alice is so cute! Other characters in this game are unique. I love this world. Ive never cleared the game,but I'm satisfied already.

It's really a wonder
A movie tie-in that's actually good and on the Nintendo DS? Yep, that's what Alice in Wonderland brings. This sidescrolling platformer is a tie-in to the recent Tim Burton film and instead of trying to make the graphics realistic, the designers have opted for a more abstract cartoony feel which really works in this game.
The game is a mixture of clever puzzles and combat using the stylus. The puzzles are actually quite a lot of fun and take advantage of the microphone and even the DSi camera. For example, some collectibles are only stainable if you unlock them by pointing the DSi camera at a real world object with the corresponding colour to the one shown onscreen. Overall a very fun game and definitely THE one to buy over the the Alice tie-ins on other consoles

Alice in Gaming Heaven.......
normally i stay well clear of film tie in games...and with good reason....then along comes a jem that deserves your time and money.
Trust me..i have been playing and writing about games and the game industry since the 80's....if you are a gamer who loves an adventure with joyous colour and graphics,loads of humour and style....this feels as though it was loved and nurtured by gamers for gamers.......possibly my DS game of the year and without doubt top 10 best handheld ever....
You deserve this and it will bring you joy...Highly Recommended for all.....5/5
