a nice indie game for a great price and nice art design, includes a music cd and an artbook, so cool and fun!
Anima is a pretty low budget indie game and despite of its limited production, the developers managed to pull off a surprisingly engaging adventure with a sizable world. the graphics are pretty impressive too, the main girl is especially sexy and the artists spared no expense at making sure she looked good.
this is an action rpg with a 2 character swapping mechanic with action that can be best described as a poor-man's bayonetta. the combat is painfully stiff and generally isn't enjoyable. it is especially hard to get good at this game since the sound cues are almost non-existent making dodging a complete crapshoot.
aside from the combat, the game manages to hit the sweet spots in pretty much every regard. the world is interesting, the dialogue is weird and amusing and most importantly the game doesn't treat the player like and idiot.
a special mention must be given to this physical edition in that it comes with a full color manual that has art in it and a disc that has the game's sound track which is always appreciated.
Not bad, not great either. But it still has some highlights like the score. it really enhances the experience.
