descriptionThe future of "Tristia", lies in your hands... . The PC based adventure game Aoi no Tristia, from the popular character designer "Komatsu Eji" and famous voice actors like "Kawasumi Ayako" is finally coming to PlayStation2™.
The game combines the invention of various items and the development of a city in a SLG portion, and an adventure portion with lots of characters interacting. Furthermore, all new event illustrations have been added and the operation interface has greatly been improved.
"Komatsu Eji", whose popularity is increasing nowadays, personally designed all the characters in the game, which are all depicted with a unique metallic dash but with a balanced and natural appearance. To be able to control these cute and elaborate characters to adventure all over the place is one of the strongest attractions of the game. Gamers who like the master's style should not miss this good opportunity.
In the game, the player takes the role as a newcomer to the invention workshop, aimed at restoring the city in the middle of the sea, "Tristia". In the progress of the game, the player has to listen to the voices of the people living in the city and finishes the assigned tasks. And so, the conflicts between the characters and the special events that result are rather rich and complex. Depending on the player's performance and choices, different endings can be expected.
One of the biggest features is the inventing part. The player starts as a greenhorn to the trade, and can only invent limited items, but with repeated tries and research, "recipe" for new items can be discovered. After successful research, you go into production time, where "ingredients" are needed. Every item comes with a "success rate", and if one fails, so does the production. One can sell the finished product to the selected venue, and according to the choice, the look of the town will change immediately!
Under the pressures of balancing income and expenditure and the risks of development, can you strike a balance to successfully restore the city to its original state or make it even better?
