Learn a lot about America's history!
The addition of moving between trees, better movement controls, a more realistic fight and naval battles makes it very interesting indeed, not to mention that you can learn much about American Revolution too (assuming this is true of course!).

One thing I noticed though, is that off-fighting mode has no background music at all.
