description

An aviation simulation x puzzle game for all aviation fans!

[Bokukan Airport Hero], the first Nintendo Switch release, is a popular series in which you become a controller and give instructions to aircraft!

The stage of the first appearance is "Haneda Airport". Skillfully use the 4 runways, and keep the skies safe with calm judgment and quick-witted air traffic control instructions! In the Nintendo Switch version, the airport and aircraft scenes have been completely renewed with more power than ever before!

The Nintendo Switch version can be easily enjoyed anytime, anywhere in portable mode, and if you project it on a TV, the powerful airport will spread out in front of you!

BIG fan of the series, but the worst they have done..
I've played all the Airport hero games for the PSP from Narita back in 2006 to this new Haneda game now in 2010 (I own all 4). My favorite is the original Narita, with the toughest award going to the tropical one (naha?)

I have to say though this was the easiest of the series and it seems they put little effort into the game.

For example in the other series you have runways that shut down due to debris or bird strike or thunderstorms..switching available runways causing all kinds of havoc.. runway inspections with vehicles. In the chitose airport hero game there is snow clearing equipment and such... in *this* game there was ZERO of that. Also there was "special unlocked planes" that would show up. Like the concord showed up in Narita..and in this game there was nothing.

Also it was the same two airlines over and over.. Japan Airlines and All Nippon (red and blue) with an occasional Korean or Air France but the fleet is super limited. There was no special aircraft or military aircraft what so ever.. in other games there is quite a mix of airlines and fleet types but this was 95% 777, 747. I like both those airplanes being a boeing/aviation fan but where is the Q400? A380? 787?

Basically the game feels rushed, the music was repetitive, playing the same level music over and over and you can beat this game in a few days taking your time (took me a casual week). So if you're a big fan of the series like I am..buy it cheap, if you've never played it before it can be confusing but worth a try. You can figure things out without any translation pretty easy especially if you are a aviation buff.

In the end I gave it 3/5 stars mostly because how easy the game was and how it seemed the game was rushed. *SPOILER ALERT* At the end of the game they say "see you at RJBB" which is Kansai? I sure hope they make it more challenging and really put some more effort into it. Please bring in the 787/A380/DC10/MD11 and make more challenges/levels.
