The Demento Original Sound Track album is based on Capcom's horror adventure game of the same name. The game is released outside of Japan as "Haunting Graund", in whoch players take on the role of Fiona Belli, an 18-year-old girl who is the sole survivor of a tragic car accident that has claimed both her parents.

The soundtrack BGM album describes the feeling and tension at the time of an escape and the sound which colored the world of Demento. The album contains a total of 37 tracks, including remixes and arrangement versions of the popular Huey's theme and ending theme, which are newly written for this work.

Good Stuff
I love Haunting Ground (that's the name we have for Demento), and one of my fave things about that game was the music.

There's such a great variety of music on the soundtrack, but I would only recommend buying it if you've played the game. People who haven't played the game will most likely not appreciate the soundtrack.

If you like creepy and haunting ambience, this soundtrack is one of the best you can get. The little actual music in this soundtrack have enchanting melodies, giving it a wonderful finishing touch. For fans of this game, this should be a wonderful addition to the collection.

Good...better...THE BEST
I love the game Demento. I´m living in Austria. There the game is called Haunting Ground. I personally think Demento has the BEST „MUSIC“ (well…most of the titles are backrground ambiences) of all survival horror games I´ve ever played and I played a lot ; ). Especially the credits-song ENDLESS ZERO is wonderful. This is a must-have-soundtrack!!! Buy it.

Dementing.... sort of
Well the soundtrack isn\'t bad, indeed you\'ve played the game if you intend to buy it, so you know what to expect. The main problem is that the album contains almost no music, but some twenty of the thirty tracks being made of horrifying sounds, distortions, abrupt halts, and scratchy editings. All deliberate, and excellent for matching Fiona\'s panic in the Belli castle, but without the accompanying game play one feels the horror and suspence somewhat lacking.

Still, if you\'re a fan of the game, and you like to have some haunting ambience, give it a shot.
