Get it for the Soundtrack.
A vast improvement over Dragon 1 and 2, the idea of extra items in the Deluxe Edition seems like a good deal, but it doesn't really raise the value; you'll get better items are you progress through the game.
Still, the Soundtrack is a welcome thing since the music in this game is excellent.
Overall, the game is as good as you heard it from professional reviewers. Out of the games to play this holiday season, get this one if want something with good writing and fun gameplay.
