Pretty good, but lacking in features and extras
Finally, DBZ in full HD! But don't expect a pristine picture. The Japanese master reel for the first Broly movie has some artifacts (like burnt holes in a couple of animation cels), and its old age shows. The second movie looks much better, since it was made in the 90's and thus a much cleaner video source for remastering to HD. Another caveat is that only the English audio is in 5.1 surround, and the Japanese audio is only in 2.0 stereo, which purists won't particularly like.

Don't look for any extras in this disc. There's only a featurette on how they remastered the video, and a commercial for the DVD season sets. There are no BD-Live features either. If it wasn't for the fact that this disc has two movies instead of just one, I would given this BD release a much lower score.

Only DBZ fans will enjoy this BD release, if only because it's in 1080p full HD.
