My only gripe is that the building can get so fun that a lot of the time invested in the game, at least in my case was spent experimenting with creating castles and other buildings. If you have very strong will you will be able to finish the game a lot quicker.
Great game for the Dragon quest series
Game is very simple and fun. Yes it might be a Minecraft rip-off, but it has a lot of Dragon Quest fun with it. You will need a heavy knowledge on Japanese to understand the game because you will need to be able to read the quests and materials.
This game is so much fun, i really think it beats any other building game that tries to add story and quests to the formula.
So easy to play you don't actually need to know japanese, is so intuitive if you have played games like terraria or forsaken isle, and still feels old school.
i guess my long review didnt go through... but here goes again.
i've always loved Dragon Quest, and i was so excited when i saw the trailer for TGS 2015, that they're having a similar to minecraft game.
Some say its like Zelda but probably bec. they could see the boy's hat, but i dont think so. its an RPG but you can also build blocks of any type of buildings. Although the text is very heavy if you dont know japanese, but you can easily understand when they bring up the item's image, plus you can also find any walkthrough on youtube. I'm almost done with the game with the help of "Let's play.." videos.
I also like the fact that you can do a free build (creative mode) right after you finish the game and you can also publish your buildings and also copy everyone's designs by downloading their format, or whatever you call that layout. its not that you're a copycat but maybe you just like other people's designs and would like to incorporate theirs to your home.
the only difference with minecraft is that you're not able to fly but they have an accessory where you can wear some type of fly boots where you can jump higher than the norm.
overall this is a fun game, i couldnt put it down and i been playing for a month now, i bought the ps vita over the ps4 bec. i havent touched my vita in years. so this might be a good addition to my vita games. but if this ever get localized in the US, i'd definitely buy it for the PS4.
