description

Blending interesting martial arts moves with slapstick comedy, "Drunken Master" has created a new genre of comedy kung fu. Jackie plays Fei-hung, the rebellious son of a kung fu master. To give him a lesson, his father apprentices him to another master named So Hi, who has a unique "drunken" fighting style. In the movie, Jackie shows his astounding kung fu techniques and natural humour. The fight sequences are so well arranged, which are dizzying and amazingly choreographed by director Yuen Woo-Ping.

But That wasn't original version. U.S.A version.
Credit is changed to english. and all the voice is dubbed to english dialogue.

One of the Best of Jackie Chan
To simply put Drunken Master is that it's a masterpiece. Under its comedy coating there's slight drama that keeps you returning to the film again and again. Action scenes are beautiful and vivid, and most of importantly as realistic as possible as there's no special effects in this film.
The language selections are superb, ranging from cantonese to english. The english seems a bit dull in its translation, but then again it serves the movie in a comedic sense. A more accurate translation with better wording wouldn't hurt the movie, but it doesn't keep it back any bit.
Compared to any other release of Drunken Master this is the one you should get. Every other version seems to have some kind of screw-up, like audio track changing, wrong picture resolution etc.
The packing is really nice as well, and shows that this release was meant to be the definitive release.
I recommend this film, especially this release, to anyone who ever liked king-fu movies.
