description
The object is an illusion, it's shadow is reality. Your shadow man is placed on a broken maze and its up to you to bridge the gaps between the pathways with shadows. Your PlayStation move sensor acts as a torch, shine the light onto the broken structure on the screen to cast its shadow.
When you move the torch around, the shadow changes, you can make gaps disappear and open up pathways by shining your beam from the different angles. The game has been immensely popular when it was first released on the Sony PSP, this PlayStation 3 edition has even better graphics, more challenges and your controls are more precise.

At last, a game with actual gameplay.
Echochrome II is a great game that offers a real challenge for gamers of all ages. Plenty of variety is available to keep the game interesting and good use of Move controllers shows dedication to the platform.
E-II is a puzzle game through and through. Like all good puzzlers the concept is simple to grasp, and well balanced to keep up the challenge and enjoyment. The premise is to guide a shadow man along a shadow walkway to the exit. Simple? Huh!
The game is set in a small 3D area populated with a variety of objects and a lightsource. The light casts the shadows of the objects on the wall behind and by moving the light around you can line up shadows in different ways. So you drop the shadow man down onto a shadow and he starts walking. Move the shadows around to allow him to reach different areas and find his way to the exit.
Doesn't sound like much but then again a bunch of falling blocks of different shapes lined up to fill a row doesn't sound exciting...except when you play Tetris you are instantly hooked! E-II is much the same. It's surprisingly engaging right from the start.
The tutorial games introduce you quickly and easily to the game concepts and let you get into the game proper very quickly. This is a great party game too, very fun to take turns with friends. Highly recommended!.

I loved the minimalist gem that was Echochrome on the PSP. but this sequel blows it out of the water and is hands down the single most convincing reason for Playstation's Move paraphenalia existing.
The introduction of light & shadow is subtle but really expands the intricate puzzle gameplay.
Released as a download/PSN title outside Asia, all the cool kids know that the only way to play this game is on a Blu-Ray disc - it's game box proudly sitting amongst the collection on your shelf - rather than bits of code anonymously hidden away in your PS3... right?

One of the Best Puzzle Games on PS3
I really like this game, and the most important is PS3 Move Controller. It is a must have for a puzzle game lover.
