Great game
Fable II is a good experience of a adventure game. Has little puzzles and a not-so-good history but is fun to play and its better to replay! trying differents skills and ways to make yourself an hero or a villain

A Nice, but Ultimately Flawed Game
i would definitely recommend others to play this game, because of its unique status in the Xbox line-up and overall interesting game mechanics. But I have found this game to be sub-par compared to most great western RPGs on the market, in many ways it serves the Sims crowd more than us RPG folks. Buy if you want some experimentation in your RPGs.

Breathtaking
Fable 2 grabbed me immediately with an incredibly beautiful fantasy setting and a very real cause for revenge.

The controls are simple and intuitive, with many easy to understand context sensitive actions allowing for a varied and deep gameplay experience. My only complaint here is that the camera and character movement is more 'floaty' than I would like.

If you like action RPGs, have an Xbox 360 and love a good quest (not to mention the many side-quests and foolish farting around - literally - that you can do) I strongly recommend Fable 2.

Just an extra picky comment - a fellow reviewer has described Fable as a great American RPG. The publisher is indeed a US firm but the developer and creative minds behind the game - Lionhead Studios - is British.

A decent action-RPG
Fable II is an improvement on its predecessor in most ways. While it still fails to be a true AAA RPG, it's an enjoyable experience as long as your expectations aren't too high.

As with the first game, the combat is lacking in depth, but can still be fun and provides a bit of variety. The ranged weapons are definitely more fun than they were in Fable, and they integrate nicely with melee combat, allowing you to switch back and forth easily.

Spellcasting is a disappointment. The need to charge your spells to attain full power is frustrating and makes playing as a pure caster character very irritating. There's little reason to sacrifice melee abilities in order to gain superior casting power.

The story is an improvement over the first Fable, but still feels lifeless. The focus on the main character as the player's avatar prevents any other characters in the game from having any personality to speak of. Cities feel like boring carbon copies, with the citizens mumbling the same four or five lines in the same two or three voices.

Fable II, much like Fable, can be fun to play, but don't expect a serious RPG experience. If that's what you're looking for, look into Mass Effect or one of the 360's vast lineup of JRPGs.
