FabStyle is truly a piece of luxorious eyecandy for your handheld. The game features nicely animated characters, great looking clothes and delighful cutscenes and movies. The 3D effect is one of the best ones I've seen on the 3DS so far, and it really compliments all the pretty graphics. Personally I can say the fashion and cute guys themselves already made my purchase worth the money.

The actual game includes dating simulator elements and a fashion part where you dress up yourself and your customers. You own a clothes shop and selling enough items is fundamental to your progress. Studying, hanging out with your friends, shopping and meeting guys comes second on your free time, if you've done well enough.

Finding suitable clothes for your customers is obviously fun, but you get to do that only once per work shift: the second part of sales consists of dragging simple icons to the customer silhouettes. This soon becomes a routine and you're just waiting to get to dress up more people. The dating simulator part however seems great.

The game offers some challenge and feels very fresh. It's nice to have a game that is not -just- a doll house dress up game and neither it is -just- a visual novel. It also doesn't feel Barbie-like or too childish at all.

Additionally, FabStyle has got easy menus. If you're ready to resort to some amount of guessing and missing the story line, it can be played without knowing much Japanese. Some of the lines are voice acted.

I hope this would get a sequel with yet a bit more complicated gameplay. Also, the game still lacks bags and belts. Otherwise FabStyle is fantastic and deserves an applause.
