Fallout 3
Many have tried but this is the first post-apocalyptic game which really makes you feel like you are in a nuclear wasteland. Fallout 3 lets you explore the huge world of blown-up buildings, radiated pools, evil raiders lurking in scrapyards and super mutant behemoths that take a mini-nuke to take down. You control your own destiny in this game and can choose to be good or evil. For example, in the early part of the game, you can choose to disarm a bomb to save a town. The best part is that you can kill your enemies in many ways. Go conventional with handguns, rifles and shotguns; aim for accuracy with energy weapons; go bada-boom with rocket launchers and mini-nukes. You can also be an explosives expert and lay mines and sneak up to the enemy to drop a grenade in his pants. Or be Bruce Lee by being a master in unarmed combat.

Bethesda Rules
Having previous played Morrowind and Oblivion I was scepticle if this game would be that great. But there is need to to worry, this game delivers. While the main quest may look short, the side quests make up for it. The game play is similar to Oblivion in some ways, but different in others. Mellee combat will feel very familiar, fast traveling is still in the game as well. The big difference is leveling up. You gain experience points until you reach the next level. You spend points on skills and choose a perk. The game caps off at level 20 making some enemies still very hard, but I believe that an expansion pack will include new levels, perks, enemies, and area to explore. The game has improved greatly on Oblivions' load times and doesn't freeze as often during gameplay. If you liked Oblivion or Morrowind you will probably feel right at home in this game.
