FF Fables: Chocobo Tales
Trouble is brewing in Final Fantasy (FF) land. An ancient evil known as Darkmaster Bebuzzu has been released from its eternal prison, and only one blonde, spiky-haired protagonist can prevent certain disaster. His name is Chocobo, an ostrich-like creature. Darkmaster Bebuzzu is an anthropomorphised storybook, and he wants to turn Chocobo\'s friends into 2D trading cards in an attempt to take over the world. Thus, Chocobo goes on an obstacle-laden wild goose chase after Bebuzzu. But as our fluffy fighter possesses the brains ad brawn of a bird, overcoming hurdles through normal means is just a little too much for him.

So he turns to fairytale picture books, scattered across Chocobo Tales\' 3D world, for help. Owing to Bebuzzu\'s influence, these books radiate with arcane magic that will remove obstacles and unlock new areas once you beat the thematic mini-game housed within. There are also plenty of story-irrelevant micro-games. High score in these distractions are rewarded with trading cards that can be assembled into decks of 15 and used in turn-based card battles. Termed Pop-Up Duels, they serve as the game\'s boss fights, but can also be enjoyed online with friends or strangers.
