Item Description

This music book is fully loaded with only the best themes from the iconicFinal Fantasygames, fromFFItoFFXIII. There are 280 pages in Japanese with guidance on over 89 tracks for players who consider themselves both beginner or intermediate. Learn to play fan-favorites like “ChocoboTheme,” “Aerith’s Theme,” “Eyes on Me,” “Because You’re Here,” and other compelling songs!

It is soft-cover, and the binding seems ok but since it's almost 300 pages you may want something to keep the pages open. Other sites claim this is an easy to intermediate book, to me it seems more intermediate to experienced if your expecting to open it up and play it right away.

Not Complete
This book contains sheet music for several pieces from most of the Final Fantasy games. Keep in mind that I said "most." There is no music for Final Fantasy 4 in this book. Final Fantasy 6 has some songs, but it's missing a lot of what fans would crave, such as "Cele's theme," "Tina's (Terra's) theme," or "Forever Rachel." The songs are simplified, which isn't a bad thing for beginner or intermediate piano players. The "Eyes on Me" and "Melodies of Life" versions sound great. A decent book, but far from perfect.

Beautiful and Useful
I've many piano books, but none of them are so well made like this one. Its full of FF-XIII images, but has scores from the entire FF series. And, for my surprise, it has some lyrics too. Unfortunately some music names are only in Japanese, but its easy to find out anyway.

Yasashiku type
For those who have the Kingdom Hearts Piano collections Yasashiku version, you will find something similar to that for this.
It's one THICK book and the notes are big too, good for beginners (ABRSM Grade 3 and below) but not so much of a tempting treat for advanced players (ABRSM Grade 5 and above).
Though said, Yamaha did a great job transcribing the songs as although simple, it's still decent.
For those piano players who just play for casual fun, I recommend grabbing this book as it's also a compilation different FF series (III, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, X2, XI, XII and XIII)
For advanced piano players who play the piano collections like me, you might want to reconsider your purchase unless you like sight reading simple stuff =)
