As the world's economy shifted towards regionalization, the competition between "O.C.U." and "U.S.N." was the most intense. As a soldier of "U.S.N.", the main character Walter lived his life in this historical time of war between nations. What will be the future? What is the conspiracy hiding in the darkness? All of these and more create experiences and reflections for everybody via Walter's eyes. This game is the commemorative 10th anniversary production of Square-Enix's robot simulation game series, "Front Mission". The biggest feature this time is the reinterpretation of the battles of the series using Walter's viewpoint and keeping within his lifespan. Just as the subtitle suggests, there are many unknown side developments for the battles, and the hidden truths increase the helplessness felt and cruelty of the tides of time through human eyes, bringing new insights and reflections into war and humanity.

Nice entry in the series...
Forget that Front Mission Evolved non-sense. For FM fans this is where it is at. Great graphics too. All in all a great addition to the series...
Only problem is if you don't understand Japanese, you'll be hard pressed to find a FAQ, which is my case.

I like this full-color and detail manual. Geate design. Expensive CG cutscenes.

Good value for money
Well balanced game with plenty of replay hours. Survival and free battle mode also allows for short, occasional gaming. So you can play all day or just for half an hour and still get something out of it.

Only let down is that when you obtain all the best parts and weapons there's no big enemy to use them against.

This blows FM4 out of the water, the replay is massive and there is so much too do, the challenge is just right and the switch to 3d custscenes helps add more depth to the story and character development.

This is possibly the best FM to date, luckily alot of the menu titles are in english and it only took me about 20 mins to figure out alof the options, it is very import friendly and any fan of the series owes it to themself to play this, you wont regret it for one min.
