Best action / adventure on Nintendo 64
The subject says it all. I will say this is basically a Zelda 64 game, but a lot more fun and comical.

The basic idea is that Goemon and Ebisumaru get kicked out a store because Ebisumaru was dancing without his pants to get a discount. As they get kicked out, the Peach Mountain Shoguns (the enemies of the game) fly over Oedo Town and start transforming castles into dancing stages. That alone is enough to grab anyone's attention.

The controls are perfect with the only flaw being unable to adjust the camera, but it fixes itself if you stand still for 1/2 a second. The castles, towns, and basic fields are very easy to navigate and not get lost. The music is pure perfection on Nintendo 64. It is all Japanese sounding music which makes sense because you are trying to save Japan.

The bottom line for this game is that if you are looking for a fun and lot simpler version of Zelda 64, get this game. If you have played it before, you are looking at maybe 8 hours if you are trying to get all the Fortune Dolls (basically heart containers) in the game. About 14 if this is your first time. The menus and text are all straight forward, so if you cannot read Japanese, there shouldn't be a problem getting from place to place or saving.
