GHOST IN THE SHELL
this is an early PSP first-person shooter, and it really shows. the enemy AI is extremely predictable and generally dumb. the variety of enemy units is slim, but some of the boss models are fairly large. the level design is also sometimes spacious, bearing in mind that this is one of the PSP's earlier titles. there are a lot of missions, but the gameplay and maps get repetitive very quickly. visually, the cutscenes are incredibly uninteresting (considering the source material), and the story is pretty confusing (though fans would probably actually appreciate that familiar feeling), but there are some interesting ruminations and nothing is kiddified just because it's a handheld game. overally, i'd recommend it for GITS fans, but it pales compared to any newer action/shooter titles you could be playing instead.
