Kazuki Yone + Shinsengumi = Eye Candy
This is the second Hakuouki game released for the PS2. It allows you to experience situations that occurred in-between the scenes featured in the first Hakuouki PS2 game.
You get to choose which guy you want to go after (even the non-main guys). In each situation, you are presented with the usual 2 choices for how to proceed. Choosing the right choice gets you a cherry blossom. As you collect cherry blossoms, you get these funny high school skits, beautiful images, and extra scenes such as "Which Shinsengumi guy is most popular with the ladies." XD
The soothing music from the original Hakuouki was brought over to this game. There are new OP and ED songs by Yoshioka Aika that you want to listed to over and over.
I will admit that I have never played the original Hakuouki PS2 game. What is great about this game is that they show you a bit of the scene from the original Hakuouki that precedes whatever scene you are about to experience in this game. They even give you a textual summary of the monthly happenings right before the event you are playing in this game.
If you read the title of my review, you should have a good idea of the beautiful guys and scenery that you will experience in this game. The voice acting is fantastic and you'll probably get a kick out of Miki Shinichirou being moody all the time as Hijikata. ^^
All in all, I loved every minute of this game and I am very glad I bought it.

Kazuki Yone's artworks are extremely astonishing!
A game totally worth playing if you are a fan of the first one! In this, you get to spend more time with the characters and learn more interesting facts about them.
