description

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 is an upcoming rhythm music game for the 3DS, and is drawn and designed by popular illustrator Nekoita, capturing the game’s theme of a cute and perfectly round world. Mitchie M is confirmed to be the composer of the theme song; also included are all songs from Project Mirai, as well a the five currently confirmed songs: Adolescence, Cendrillon, Skeleton Orchestra and Lilia, and The Celestial Fox. Improvements include the increased availability of costumes and songs that players can choose from; GUMI also returns in Project Mirai 2 after popular demand as a playable character. On the 3DS, a new touch mode allows players to swipe with precision, though of the first Project Mirai can still revert to their older style of button use. Players that choose to adapt to the new changes will also need to use the D-pad for certain keys - as well as certain combos! This edition will include a special edition Nendoroid called “Nendoroid Puchi Hatsune Miku Project Mirai 2 Ver.” with a set of stickers called “Project Mirai 2 Puku Puku Decoration Stickers”.

Better than the original
I recently gotten all 3 project mirai games (1, 2, and DX) because i thought all 3 were going to be different. This version adds more songs to the original song list and a touch mode to play with. I'm not entirely happy with getting all songs from the original in 2, but to add touch mode is ok. I think it's kinda lazy and let me down a little.

The one thing i wish i had known before ordering this, if you are going to get a mirai game, just get DX. All of the songs in the original are in 2 plus a good bit more and all of the songs in 2 are in DX plus one more and harder difficulty for some songs. And being able to understand the game is a huge plus.

I really liked the figure and wasn't expecting the stickers that came with it as well.

My first Project Mirai game
Coming from Project DIVA F (English), with an extremely limited Japanese vocabulary, I was surprised how easy it was to follow. The game play was a shock after DIVA F, but not hard to pick up. The different character styles, I don't know if I prefer them or not yet. But I do know I want to interact with this Hatsune Miku than the one on the PS3 or Vita, it's just more rewarding, clothes, food, room, all the usual stuff. My opinion may be biased towards anything with "Hatsune Miku" on it, but this is a great game, a lot of fun to play, with a lot of great music.
