description

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 is an upcoming rhythm music game for the 3DS, and is drawn and designed by popular illustrator Nekoita, capturing the game’s theme of a cute and perfectly round world. Mitchie M is confirmed to be the composer of the theme song; also included are all songs from Project Mirai, as well a the five currently confirmed songs: Adolescence, Cendrillon, Skeleton Orchestra and Lilia, and The Celestial Fox. Improvements include the increased availability of costumes and songs that players can choose from; GUMI also returns in Project Mirai 2 after popular demand as a playable character. On the 3DS, a new touch mode allows players to swipe with precision, though of the first Project Mirai can still revert to their older style of button use. Players that choose to adapt to the new changes will also need to use the D-pad for certain keys - as well as certain combos!

I loved the first and this one offers so much more geekery to the max

Very kawaii!
I never played the first Mirai game so I am reviewing this from the perspective of a Project Diva player.

I used to look down on the nendoroid graphics for Mirai but when I got to see these nendoroids singing and dancing on the 3ds, I fell to the moeness. The graphics are so cute! Very colorful and looks very fantastic on the 3ds. I have not unlocked all songs yet but I find the nendoroid versions of songs I played on Project Diva like Romeo and Cinderlla and World is Mine very amusing.

You can play the game with the stylus or just the facebuttons. There is also a bonus puyo puyo game in there.

Mirai 2 also comes with a lot of AR cards.

Nice selection of songs, cute graphics, fun rhythm gameplay, and the packaging. Worth it.

Step-up
Not a bad game. Huge improvements and added features since its predecessor, which now looks pretty empty when compared to mirai 2. i just wish that some of the songs that were carried over from mirai 1 were replaced by others that weren't carried over. vocaloid happiness is pretty nice, but seems kinda long and tedious to raise up.
