Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang himself glides onto the Nintendo GameCube in this all new mission-based adventure that deftly mixes high-speed driving, rail-shooting, stealth and first-person shooter (FPS) action.
Filled to the neatly brushed lapels with supermodelesque women, chortling villains, fast cars and secret submarine pens, James Bond 007: Agent under Fire may be even more Bondish than the movies themselves. Zipping from Hong Kong to Romania, the South China Sea and Switzerland, the not-exactly original story has an evil corporation bent on world domination via an army of clones.
EA sticks to formula too with the basic game design, allowing you to play on three difficulty levels. The objectives don't change as you move from Operative to Agent to 00 Agent; instead, you'll encounter more and smarter enemies. In a Nintendo GameCube exclusive, you get to pick the difficulty level each time you enter a new mission.
Agent under Fire awards points for things like accuracy, damage taken, finding golden 007 icons and executing extra-stealthy "Bond Moves," such as using your trusty Q-Decryptor to drop a crate on hapless enemies. Depending on your total, you can earn a bronze, silver or gold medal, which unlocks goodies like new weapons.
