Item Description
Discover the events prior to Lunar: Silver Star Story in this role playing game for Nintendo DS featuring three new characters. Battle the forces of evil and transform Dark creatures into Light with the new Light and Dark system. Augment the abilities of your party via Battle Cards, and then exchange cards over wireless LAN with your friends.
The game takes place 1,000 years before Lunar Silver Star Story and follows Gien Campbell, a 15-year-old delivery boy. Gien receives a delivery request to the town of Heelritz, a town of half-beasts. Although it's a place Gien has dreamed of, he finds out the dreamland is far from perfect.
Lunar Genesis lets you move around the map by simply tapping a point on the touch screen. Battles in the game use both screens to show grounded and airborn enemies. The game also feature controls dictated to the built-in microphone.

Good little game
People familiar with the Lunar series or other RPGs might find this game bad, too simple or whatever, but this is one of the most fun DS games I have played so far, and perhaps the only RPG available in English language.
The scenery graphics are very nice. Musics and sounds are ok but can get a bit repetitive.
Gameplay-wise, the fights can also get repetitive after a while, especially with the easier ennemies where you just select \"automatic\" and wait for the fight to end... Big monsters are more interesting but they seem rare.
The story seems to be entirely linear, though you can also spend time delivering various packages to various people to earn money.
This game has so far sucked 11 hours of my time. I cannot say so of the tens of other DS games I have tried! Try it if you don\'t have too high expectations of what an RPG should be.
