Just buy it. Seriously.
If you like the Nanoha series you are obliged to get this game. End of story, no questions asked. Even if you don't understand Japanese, just play this game while looking at an English translation somewhere. Seriously, just get it.

The gameplay is simple to pick up and learn (which is good, since all the instructions are in Japanese) and quite fun.

In a nut-shell, pick your favorite magical girl (or woman. Or wolf. Or Chrono) and blast them with a barrage of magical projectiles or just close in and bash them over the head.

Simple and strangely satisfying, the game is immensely fun and quite frankly impossible to describe in words.

The game also offers insights into each character, showing their motivations, dreams and fears in a superbly done story mode. This game is solely responsible for my change in outlook on Reinforce from 'boring emo' to 'freaking hardcore awesome'

At no point at all did I feel like I was punching/blasting someone for some half-baked reason other than the developers thinking it would be cool if X fought Y.

Which is nice for a change, you know.

Seriously, I almost want to demand some kind of OVA based on this game or something. The story is full of good times.

I should also point out that even if you don't understand Japanese, the game is extremely fun and you can more or less guess from the context anyway.

To sum up, game is awesome. Buy it. Even if you don't understand Japanese that is no excuse to not buy it. JUST BUY IT!

All for Fans
Well, I have to say this PSP game design for fans. If you do not know what happened in A's, then the game story would not help you understanding the story

A Real Treat for Nanoha Fans
This game is awesome, with great music and a chance to play the characters that are loved by all Nanoha fans. The effects are enjoyable and although it is rather short for my taste, the game is entertaining nonetheless. The limited edition box set not only brings a great game but also tons of wonderful accessories and a Nanoha figma. This box set is a must for Nanoha fans and I would recommend the game to non-Nanoha fans as well.

Lots of things missing, but a good play
To be quite frank, the game was a little disappointing. Yes, the game is very simple, but maybe just a little too simple. Voice acting is, of course, superb and the story though a bit shallow, was quite entertaining.

There are no computer difficulty settings, and computer players can generally be beaten down by simply spamming a specific move for each character which seems to be their weakness. However, those who choose to play in a more proper fashion can expect a good challenge, as they do a lot better up close, though there is a bit of excessive 'counter' move spam on their end.

I particularly loved the character specific dialogues that happen when you use your super move on particular characters during the story, and the animations looked great as well. The story gives some more insight into charactesr, and some of the dialogues were humorous. Music was good, and artwork was great, as expected.

All in all, I believe its a good buy for Nanoha fans. The box it comes in looks splendid, the accessories are great for those brave enough to use them, and the figma is adorable. The game itself is missing a lot in terms of gameplay, but the story and top notch voice acting can help cover for that. Get the limited while you can, as its much more worth it than the standard.

Despite my negative tone at the start, I'd give this 4 stars.

Very very awesome!!
Known as the "Magical Battle Arena(MBA) clone", this game proves that it's not true. The gameplay is very different from it's so called clone, in which the controls vary depending on how far you are on your opponent, be it close or long range. The game is very addicting to play, you can even make your own combos with the right timing, which is very easy to do!.The characters are very well made and voiced by the fans' favorite Voice actors like Nana Mizuki. You can even customize the characters with some abilities(up to four) you acquire through the game and combine their effects to maximize your advantage. The graphics is crisp, and colorful! You will not get tired at playing this game.

I'm an avid Nanoha fan, and this comes from me: get this game. It will worth your time and money.

I recommend this game to both avid Nanoha and non-Nanoha fans alike. You will love it!I warn you, this game can be very addicting fast!Buy it!
