Item Description

Pauline, is that you? Plenty of surprises await in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. It seems folks love those Mini Mario toys. So much so that the Mario Toy Company has expanded the line to include Mini Donkey Kong, Mini Toad and Mini Peach figures to the series. With all these toys bringing him more money than he knows what to do with, Mario decides to fulfill his lifelong dream and open a theme park called Super Mini Mario World. The opening-day crowd includes Pauline and Donkey Kong, who immediately falls head over heels for the lovely lass. The proud ape tries to show off his Mini DK toy to Pauline, but she picks the Mini Mario toy over his and the jealous Donkey Kong becomes enraged. He smashes the displays, destroys the toys and takes Pauline to the top floor of the amusement park. Players must find Pauline and save the day.

Mario vs Donkey Kong: March of the Minis
Pauline, damsel-in-distress of Donkey Kong fame, returns in Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. Kong\'s jealousy gets the better of him again, he kidnaps Pauline -- and history repeats itself. This is all shown in the introduction in glorious full-motion video. Instead of Mario, you control a number of Mini-Marios, which are wind-up toy versions of the moustached plumber. The touch-screen is used to move your minis -- collecting coins and various items at every stage -- and eventually lead your minis through a door and to salvation. Trying to stop your minis are a host of villians from the Mario series -- like the Shy Guys and Piranha Plants (the flytraps which shoot balls of fire). That is in addition to the brilliant stage designs.

Though it sounds clichéd, this game is indeed easy to learn, but hard to master. While it may be a breeze getting through the stages, achieving a gold star at every stage requires some intense micro-management. All said, the main game is surprisingly short for something stretching over nine worlds. The difficulty ramps up as you advance, but you could probably finish it in less than 10 hours straight if you are not aiming for perfection. Once you are done, you can continue playing Mario vs Donkey Kong 2 with the Construction Zone -- a robust level editor providing for potentially endless gameplay. Levels can be shared either locally or over Nintendo\'s Wi-Fi Connection.

If you have an itch for a puzzle game that you can play in short bursts, Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis is suitable for you. A nice balance is struck between play length and replayability, appealing to the gamer on the go. Highly recommended for both Mario fans and puzzle addicts alike.

the best for fun
Nice, classic original Mario graphic style, this game is great, but only 73 stages, also can make your own stages. Over all, this game is one that everyone can\'t miss!!
