The half-octopus leader of the mer-people (Taiwanese pop star Show Lo) has entrusted the mermaid Shan with the task to seduce and assassinate the billionaire Liu, a notorious skirt-chaser, to stop his latest development project and thereby prevent the destruction of the merfolk's ecosystem. After a series of failed attempts and fateful coincidences, the two end up liking each other and might just be working out fine without murder. But of course, things seldom go smoothly in movies...
