Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Official Guide: The Complete

Look no further than the beautiful "Konami" logo to know this is the best official guide you can get your hands on. The book is thick with material; I am not exaggerating when I say it covers everything in mgs4- from it's origins to pictures of every "flashback" that occurs in the game.

It is evident that there is a lot more care taken in this Japanese guide than it's English counterpart: most of the guide and explanation uses beautiful imagery and with a detailed "metal gear" style touch to everything from the maps to weaponry and equipment. It uses words as little as possible which helps it sway from long-winded page-long explanations that plagued the English mgs4 guide.

Admittedly I cannot read Japanese but despite that I could still enjoy this awesome guide for what it is: a simple-structured picture-based guide that unveils the game in all it's glory and leaves nothing at the mercy of the unknown.
