Different creator, different style
Despite its settings in UC 0083, everything here feels ahead of its time if you have watched Z Gundam. However it's a good filler or back ground story to what happened in Z Gundam. However the characters and robots feel a little out of place at times due different creator. It's closer to Macross in this sense.
