Better than FF XIII
Nier combines the gameplay of so many kinds of games yet they all feel coherent and most importantly fun. The story, chars, music, gameplay, atmosphere are top notch. Even though this is published by S-E, it is made by Cavia, the developer who made Drakengard. So one can expect some major plot twists at the end.

descriptionNothing is as it seems in Square Enix’s latest action adventure game, set in a crumbling world plagued by disease and dark, unrecognizable creatures. Players assume the role of the unyielding protagonist, NIER, resolute in his quest to discover a cure for his daughter, who is infected with the Black Scrawl virus. With powerful allies and a mysterious book, NIER encounters things that will confound even the mightiest of warriors. The story is good. The music is great too.But It kindda boring in the first hour of the game. (I almost fell assleep TwT).But 4 hour later it is more interesting. The graphics could be better.
Excellent game overall! I've got the English version of Nier and Replicant is my first Japanese game purchase to date - I haven't regretted it. The story, soundtrack, and characters are wonderful, and it's fun having the chance to play a different Nier.
I loved Nier: Gestalt on my 360 so I decided to buy this one for my PS3 and it did not disappoint me!
A great game in my opinion. Good music, story, the twists, the system and all were just too good. However, te graphics look dated as compared to FF13 in my opinion.
Everything is great. Recommended!!!
