Totally worth it.
I bought this Japanese Wii for two reasons.
1) It's a Limited Edition.
2) I already had 5 Japanese Gamecube Games & intended to buy some Japanese Wii games.
I have since bought 6 Japanese Wii games.
Yes I basically bought a whole different region of Wii just for the sake of 6 games. And it was worth every penny.
I have been absolutely amazed at the number of Japanese Wii Channels that just don't come with other version consoles.
So far I'm pretty clueless with some of the channels because, as far as reading Japanese, I'm almost completely illiterate. The regular menu, starting/exiting games, making a Mii and the few channels that I'm accustomed to have all proven very easy to navigate.
And along the way, I've noticed that I can now recognize & understand a little more written Japanese than I could before. Definitely a fun way to learn.
