Proper STL-RPG
This game is marked as 'adventure' which is a label for most Japanese bishojo (pretty girls) games, but as with many others it is actually a pretty good strategy RPG. That's the thing about the so called adventure J-games -- these days they give you a particuler genre game like scoll shooting and STL/RPG between the adventure dialogues, and the games are actually better than some of the fully-fledged RPG's out there.
So if you're unimpressed with the range of games in your genre, try visiting the official site for these J-adventure games. There will be a page you click on that shows you the "system" (game play). The reason why these games are all categorized in adventure is because they are afterall sorts of bishojo games despite thier various genre game play.
