Astoundingly Bad
Although I was originally very eager to get this game, when I finally did receive it I was so disappointed. Not only is it stifling to creativity, but it\'s also the antithesis of actual fun. You go through endless dialogue window after endless dialogue window, then you are forced to take part in some asinine competition of fashion, in which originality is frowned upon. You aren\'t given enough money to assemble the necessary fashions to please the overly picky judges, and your competitor is naturally judged less harshly than you.

Combine this with the more or less horribly ugly \'fashions\' that are \'featured\' in this game, the insulting stereotype characters, the misleading press surrounding this game (good luck getting to where you can make your own boyfriend, which is probably as disappointing as the rest of the game\'s much-touted \'features\'), the nonexistent help, the unnecessarily hateful characters surrounding you, and you have a game that I can\'t imagine any of even its target audience enjoying. The only thing this will elicit in girls of its target age bracket is tears and frustration, and I\'m sure it will do nicely to turn them off of video games forever. I certainly don\'t feel too eager to pick up another fashion-related game after this disaster.

Culture Brain are advised to make the next Oshare Princess...well, fun. Since that\'s what good games should really be. Unfortunately this is neither \'good\', nor really a \'game\'. It\'s a barely-interactive novel where you\'re given a scant modicum of freedom that ends up being ultimately futile. If I wanted to deal with hateful people, ugly clothes, and unnecessary competitions, I would just go get a job at a high-priced clothing store. I got this game because I thought it would be a fun little bit of fantasy, with a touch of exciting romance.

Unfortunately it was the most depressing and disgusting \'fantasy\' one could ever wish for. If you are into fashion and fun, check out Love and Berry. It may cost more, but they\'re a tried a true feel-good series that never dips into the hateful cruelty of Oshare Princess DS. Avoid this monstrosity at all costs.
