Basically anyone can participate in the Play-Asia.com Affiliate Program. You don't even have to maintain your own website to join. Just place your personalized affiliate link anywhere you like, including, but not limited to websites, forum footers, IRC channels, e-mails & footers, message boards, shopping directories and start earning cash!

No, the Play-Asia.com Affiliate Program is free of charge. If you wish to terminate your affiliate status with Play-Asia.com, you can simply remove all your personalized affiliate links or contact us with your request.

Generally, all websites are allowed to participate. However due to legal and ethical reasons, Play-Asia.com reserves the right not to accept certain websites. This may include websites:
- with pornographic content
- that glorify violence, contain youth endangering material or defame or discriminate a person or a group of people because of their religion, their race, their handicap or other reasons
- that contain racist or sexist content
- that infringe intellectual property of others
- that violate national or international law

4. How do I link to Play-Asia.com and how can I link to a specific product?
The key factor in the Play-Asia.com Affiliate Program is your personalized affiliate link, which you can place on your website, in your e-mail, on message boards or wherever you find it appropriate. Whenever a visitor is referred by your link, you will have the chance to earn money.
With the Play-Asia.com Affiliate Program, you can either link to our start page, to any category or even to a specific product page. You will find your personalized affiliate link on the bottom of each page, subject to the condition that you are logged in at Play-Asia.com with your registered affiliate account.
To avoid mistakes, Play-Asia.com highly recommends you to place your personal link only by using the "Copy & Paste" function. We strongly discourage anyone from typewriting the link.

6. How do I advertise successfully? Are there any useful tips?
To improve your affiliate performance, we have prepared a number of useful tips that you might find helpful. We also recommend you to take advantage of your weekly e-mail affiliate report, which contains personal product recommendations, an overview of top viewed and top selling products and much more.
Positive:
- Text links. Small but very effective. Text links that are well placed into the context of your website (for example in a news post, in product articles or reviews, etc.) often have a much better impact than standard banner ads. Visitors that entrust your personal opinion will happily follow your advice.
- Praise and asking for support. As website owner, there's nothing wrong with asking your visitors for support. Visitors who appreciate your information will be happy to offer something in return.
- "Buy now" links. If implemented in news, product reviews or charts, buy now indicators that link directly to a targeted product will be considered as an extra service for your visitors and will be an additional source of income for you.
- Keep your website updated. You will constantly find updated banners related to new products on our banner page. Take advantage of this service and increase the likeliness of your visitors clicking through.

Negative (Under certain circumstances):
- Popups. Popups are considered annoying and intrusive by the majority of internet users. Often, popups are blocked by new generations of web browsers (FireFox etc) making them redundant. If you still decide to use a popup on your site, we recommend you make sure that it only appears one time per visit and not on every page.
- Too many banners. Of course you can still place banners of other sites or shops on your website, but please bear in mind that too many banners might leave a negative impression on your visitors and might finally lead to fewer clicks and visits to your site.

Based on our Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions, we will not credit you any affiliate commission for any order that was placed through your own affiliate link.
Due to recent attempted misuse, Play-Asia.com also monitors transactions that are in breach with our Affiliate Terms & Conditions, which includes setting up another customer account in order to earn commission for purchases made by oneself. Play-Asia.com reserves the right to freeze affiliate earnings and refuse withdrawal at any time at sole discretion of the company in such events.
