They just don\'t make them like this anymore...
Back in the classic GameBoy days, Squaresoft developed a short series of portable RPGs under the title \"Final Fantasy Legend.\" (also known as SaGa in Japan) No doubt, this is a remake of the original Final Fantasy Legend / Makai Toushi SaGa for the GB classic.
Featured in this remake are improved graphics, sound and minor tunings to gameplay. Most importantly, the port manages to preserve the retro feel of its predecessor while still appealing to modern interests. Even more so, it also preserves its original difficulty, offering a solid gameplay structure for both long-time fans and new-comers alike. For those not akin to the adjustments, a bonus included with the port is an optional version of the classic game itself, as represented upon its original release.
All in all, this game takes us back to the basics of role-playing, presenting many fun, nostalgic and challenging elements that defined a genre. And since a localization outside of Japan doesn\'t seem to be in the works, your best bet is to get a copy of the WonderSwan Color release while you still can.
