Utterly Brilliant!
So, I leave my apartment within the game and head out onto the streets of Liberty City. Within a few minutes of walking around my new neighborhood, I witness a car accident.
The driver of the car that got hit gets out of his vehicle, pulls the other driver out of his and proceeds to lay into him with his fists.

What does the American Dream mean today?
For Niko Bellic, fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past.
For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity.
As they slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream in a city that worships money and status, and is heaven for those who have them and a living nightmare for those who don't.

I did not like this game
I was a huge GTA fan until this game. I am well aware I am in the minorty of gamers who feel this way about GTA. I just think they took all the fun out of GTA. There are other sandbox games that are FAR more fun. Personally I had a more enjoyable time playing Saints Row 2. There are plenty of sandbox games that let you leap tall building, become a super hero or villain, lets you use your imagination like a game should. With GTA I feel like I rooted far too much into reality with cement shoes on a cars made out glass that handle like cinder blocks. GTAIV is a day at work at a job you enjoy, but its still work. Saints Row, Infamous series, Red Faction Guerrilla, Prototype, Just Cause 2 are all a day at an amusement park with no lines to wait in.

Great immersive game
This is a great game in the Grand Theft Auto series. It is even more immersive than the previous three games. Highly recommended, especially now that it's cheaper!
