Can't go past it as a HD 2D fighter
Compared to the other 2D fighters out there and currently avaliable, BlaxBlue wins hands.down.
The characters are great, the design is great, the music is great, the story is creative and inviting. The graphics and attention to detail are also excellent.

The fighting style can be as easy or as difficult as you are, what helps make this game so playable is that you can fight as simple or as complicated as you like, experienced fighters can challenge themselves by remembering moves and developing keen timing, while beginners can still execute special moves and lower the difficulty as they wish and still enjoy it.

Honestly, its the best 2D figher I've played in a long long time, best on xbox360 at least, and I enjoy the genre. The deal with the soundtrack and bonus DVD's make it a no brainer, if you love fighters, you will love BlazBlue: calamity trigger.

    WOW!
BlazBlue is simply one of the best fighting games ever, this is not a mainstream game, and it may not be as popular as the Street Fighter series. However, the game mechanics is very good, each characters are very unique, and they are played very differently. The graphics of the game are very beautiful. this edition also comes 2 soundtrack discs and 1 dvd containing lot of strategies for newcomers. This is highly recommended for fighting fans.

    Great graphics, complex fighting system
I can't believe how good the 2d graphics can look on a system like 360, this game looks very good indeed. lso the gameplay is very involved with a lot of techniques to master, taking that into account, it's good (at least for me) that this game doesn't pack a vas number of characters, but rather focuses on the balance of the more than a dozen characters it sports. Online play is smooth, and the achievements are funny.

    Best netcode
The netcode is simply amazing. Looks like the developers took a lot of hints from GGPO and implemented it well. Easily the the netcode to beat in any retail fighter to date.

    2D excellance
The Guilty Gear series stood well above all its competition in the last generation of 2D fighters, Blazblue ups the anti with a whole new concept and brand new characters. Even then the most impressive thing is that they have managed to make it feel fresh and new instead of a re-skined Guilty Gear. If your a fighting fan what are you doing reading this... JUST BUY IT.
