Excellent buy
As many others have said it already, this game has pure value. Straight off the bat, a decently low RRP, this title, while not a high budget blockbuster, manages to outdo most just off it's great setting, well told story, and a great mix of both freedom and combat.

Those that enjoyed the first to WoTS games should consider this one a no brainer as it essentially fuses the good aspects of the two and then some, others that perhaps disliked the other entries should still definitely give it a shot.

Highly recommended.

Perhaps a 'try-before-you-buy'
As I have been a fan of these sorts of games and a martial art lover, I purchased this without a thought. Even after reading tepid revues, I still believed that it was my sort of game. However, after playing it I am slightly disappointed with the graphics.
The story is fine (as I would expect following on from the other 2 in the series), but I just thought there could have been something more dynamic.

Without going in to too much detail, I think this should be played before buying decision.

PS3 version kicks ass!
I've been a fan of the Way of Samurai series, just because of the freedom it gives you. This one is yet another installment of that and it's done its job even better! Previous ones we see some lags and handling wasn't so good, and it's fixed here. I suppose the only drawback is it really needs HD TV because otherwise the text gets really too small.

Go for it
Tons of different endings/titles awaiting for you to get. You can even get the different titles when you die at anytime.
It's time to hunt for your favoutite sword & your favourite partner. ;)

Very addictive and a great buy.
I bought this game when it was first released on this site and haven't put it down since.

If you've played the first game on the PlayStation 2, and liked it, you'll love this one. It brings back all the fun the first one had and unlike most companies, they haven't ruined the series.

Here's hoping Way of the Samurai 4 is even better!
