One of my favourite games of all time.
Mercenaries 2 is similar to the first game, but better in every way. The game is set in venezuella, you choose from 3 characters and play in a 3rd person sandbox style game. Like grand theft auto but with military vehicles too. The chooper controls are in my opinion the best chooper controls on a consol, everything is so easy and fun to use. The game is so under-rated in the press, but I think it's one of the best game this generation. You can pick up and play it just to blow things up and do side quests or you can tackle the main game which is about 15 hours long. The map is huge and so are the explosions. You canb even play the story online in co-op which is always good. If I only had one complaint about the game it would be that you can't zoom the camera way out when you call in airstrikes to see the destruction from a different view. A minor thing I know, but this is still an excellent game. I hope EA has any sense and make Mercenaries 3 as the end hints at another game. With Pandemic closing down in NOV 09, I hope the franchise keeps going. 5 stars.

So much fun for people who love blowing things up
This game lets you blow nearly everything up. I think the only thing you can't destroy are the mountains, but you can clear a forest with a nifty airstrike. lol.. very addictive game.. lots of missions which get harder as the game goes on. AI is a little off but I guess it really doesn't matter when you got a bazooka on your shoulder. Anyone who buys this game will not be disappointed.

This is the ultimate game for anyone for a taste for destruction and the madess missions.merceneries 2 world in flames alaws you to play in the wartorn venuzwela were dirrent factions fight for the oil,they can be your freinds or enemys.mercenaeres 2 has a ton of weapons avalible to you of all sorts it alwso has airstrikes from the normal boming run to the devastating nucler bunker buster.you can play as 3 characters each with speacial abilites.there a tons of challenges to compliete to unlock new items.the main part of this game is every thing is destrutible from a simple lamp post to a oil rig.there are also many dirrent vehles that are so mad with high speeds and weapons attached too with lots of diffrent types like cars,motorbikes,monstertrucks,boats,helicopters and more.the world is huge you can explore the whole of venizwala through loads of citys and jungles and isalands.there is so much to do in mercenaeries to its to much to say but the main thing about this game is it alaws you to do the missions and the story your way it dosent tell you the way to do it its up to you.this game is imense so go out and buy it now you will not regret it.

ey, I have been playing Merc for 3 days now and I love it. The graphics are pretty dam good. I am glad i bought this game. I will admit sometimes the controls can be confusing but it is a good game.
