Yes, it cleaned the lens because I could see the dust on the pad. However, it didn't fix my disc reader.

It REALLY works
Wow. I'm from Brazil. I bought this product because my 2007 Wii couldn't read the Smash Bros. Brawl anymore. In the same day the cleaner kit arrived I was already playing the game. Amazing, and it also comes with some refill.

Easy to use
I cannot say if the product really works or not, since there were not so much dust removed from my Wii lens even though I have my console since more than four years. But it is really easy to use.

Easy and Effective
The Wii lens can be cleaned with the help of the clear illustration of the instructions in less than 5 minutes. If not understandable, there are online versions of instructions in several different languages on Nintendo official sites.

As recommended, it is advised to clean the lens regularly for optimal disc reading.

Incredible!!!
It is the most effective accessory I bought to my Wii. Extreamely easy to use and really works. I believe it will last long and is safe to use since its an Official nintendo accessory.

While this product comes with Japanese instructions, there is a pictorial how-to on a pamphlet that comes along. It's easy to understand and once you do, the product does its job well.

This is a must if you use a lot your Wii.
As an official product, you can belive that it works fine. Take in account that the instructions are in japanese, but illustrated so you can understand almost all you cand o to clean your Wii.
Hurry and buy one befere it lasts! You'll have an extra insurance for yur console and it's lens to endure years and years as it was the 1st day!

My Smash Bros. Brawl worked great since I bought it, but then my Wii started having problems reading it. I thought it must be dust. So if you have this same problem (game worked but suddenly it doesn't) , this will work wonders.

It doesn't work
It doesn't work for unreadable game disc problem, get if fixed by buying new lens optic replacement for 25 bucks, and run's flawelessly

actually it's not dedicated to fix the optic problem, only clean the lens header, and cleans well

3 star's enough

Good but not Great....
I have 2 Nintendo Wii consoles. One of which couldn't read the discs, so I went and researched a bit on the net and found this. I bought it and tried it and did not work. I tried it a second time and still didn't work. I give it 3 stars because it's Nintendo owned.

Great Product!
Are you having a problem with your wii reading Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Well then this product might do the trick. Just received it today and it worked fantastic, it removed a ton of dirt/dust, and now Brawl works smoothly. Recommended to those who are sick of noisy disc reading, and not being able to play brawl. Not guaranteed to work, but certainly worth a try, because it is fairly cheap!! good luck
