Great Buy
the 4 face buttons have a real classic feel to them and feels like SNES buttons. the D-pad really isn't far away as some say or hard to reach. Hori accessories are just as good as First party accessories so they don't feel like cheap plastic and you know you're getting your money's worth.

Very comfortable buttons
The design draws mostly elements from the NGC controller.
Keep in mind though, this hori classic controller was designed and produced prior to nintendo's own classic controller Pro but after the classic controller.
Quality: Pristine material. Just as good or even better than first party material. It won't feel cheap in your hands.
Design: - The trigger and shoulder buttons are nice, if you preferred the NGC controller.
- Analog sticks feel just like GC controller as well. The octagon frames are helpful. One significant flaw is the the left analog stick tends to be too sensitive. You might need to recalibrate it using the wii remote (see manual). This could be just with the particular controller I have and not a universal issue.
- D-pad is too small. (Keep in mind this came out before the CCP) It might hurt your hands quickly for games that require D-pad use frequently.
- Home, - and + buttons are wonderful. Much bigger and more comfortable to press than they are on any nintendo controller. Great for games that require to press - or + a lot.
- In my opinion the four face buttons are the best in any generation's controllers. They are just the right size and depths. Made with soft(er) material. And very accurate and easy to press at the same time. Your wrist will last for hours and days straight because using these face buttons felt like nothing at all! This is would be the biggest reason I would use this controller over the CCP
- The rapid fire function is a bonus

A good decision,
for people Nintendo's Wii Classic Controller is too small. Also the addition of the turbo buttons is awesome.

Hori ;)
Nothing more to say. Best 2nd party controller out there. Great buy for everyone who is familiar to original gameplay with GC controller.

Solid, comfortable and feature-packed
The controller is solidly built and has a more substantial "feel" to it when compared to Nintendo's Wii Classic Controller. The addition of the turbo buttons (unavailable on the Nintendo model) provide added realism when playing TurboGrafx 16 games on the Virtual Console, as the TG-16 controller had turbo on it as well. Highly recommended.
