Dragon Ball Z®: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 takes the lightning fast fighting, flying and action that made its predecessor, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2, last year’s #1 fighting game and takes it to a whole new level with exciting new features. For the first time in Dragon Ball Z® history, the Wii™ platform will feature online gameplay, connecting DBZ fans around the country. Meanwhile the
PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system version of DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be the final installment of Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi series on this platform. A ‘Disc Fusion System’ will be available exclusively to the PlayStation 2 system, allowing players to use Budokai Tenkaichi 1 and/or Budokai Tenkaichi 2 to unlock exclusive game modes available only on the PlayStation 2 system.

Review
The learing curve for Sparkling! Meteor is very steep if you are new to the series and you can expect to have a few irritating moments before you get the hang of it. In the previous games, the tutorial was really long since you had to go through some actual in-game training after each part, this game focuses more on text and is very unforgiving if you forget something. Thus, it is very difficult in the beginning. Get the English version if you dont understand Japanese or read an online-tutorial.
Once you get the hang of it, this is every DBZ or "actionfighter"'s dream. The fighting is fast, smooth and fun. The variation between characters is a bit dull as the combo-sets are pretty much the same but it doesnt really matter since the constant action will keep you busy anyways.
The storymode is a dissapointment since you only get to see the battles and some characters that are talking arent acctually present on the scene. If you know the DBZ story from the start, you are probably not going to care anyways since it is a story retold so many times anyways.
Sound is good and the multiplayer-options are nice, although it seems that the wifi is pretty much dead now.
If you dont have this game and havent tried any of the earlier games in the series, this is a must have if you like fighting and/or DBZ.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai
With birthdays close together, I recently bought 7 Wii games for my 2 boys (ages 5 and 8). This is the game they love the most! They love all aspects of this game - spending half of their time choosing which characters to be. The action is simple enough to learn quickly and colorful enough to keep them entertained for hours.

Japanese Version Much Better!!
Original voices, original anime musics... US version only have the option to change the voices ENG/JAP .. but the music of Japanese version makes all the difference... Best DBZ game ever!!!
