Works as expected
This device simply converts VGA or component signals into HDMI. There's no upconversion or any kind of boost in resolution, so don't expect to have any kind of improvement in graphics. It's perfect for those who want to play old consoles into modern monitors with HDMI inputs. You just have to be careful to check the specs and make sure that the resolution of your input device is supported by the conversor. I use it to connect my PS2 into my Dell LCD monitor and it works great.

Doesn't Upconvert
Well I bought this product for my Ps2, hoping to get a better picture quality for my games. The converter does work in the respect that it will take a component signal and make it a digital one. However, the signal does not up-convert, in fact my TV still showed that it was receiving a 480i signal and it showed. Games like Disgaea which output at 240i don't even appear on screen. I was sadly disappointed with this product and will be returning it as fast as I can.
