A useful too for streaming/video work.
If you want to record 480p sources (PSP, Wii) for streaming, this is probably the cheapest and most efficient solution you can get.
It will also scale down any 1080p signal sent, and upscale PS1 240p, meaning with splicing, you can play at any resolution, and it will scale to 720p60.
This means you can play on 1080p and not sacrifice any graphical detail while streaming out to say a web server at 720p60.
Granted, there are slight issues with deinterlacing at 480i, but for the price paid (For reference, the next step up would be at least 5x as much as the above), it serves very well if you have a goal of streaming and recording 480p/i or PS1 240p signals.

Good product, but
Quite good product and work like it should be. Tested in PS2 game, the picture was not to much different if you already using component cable, better but not so much. But is really different if you only use standard cable. BEWARE!! this product work on every hdtv BUT some lcd pc monitor (my lg wtq) is just wont work!!!
