Lovely little box Ive had this for over a year and it hasnt given me any problems. I use it for my Xbox 360, wii and ps2(which i rarely use) and it works fine. If you need more component inputs then this is a much better choice than the XCM multi-consoles component cable v2, which i also have(dont know about v3). In comparison (in my case) i ended up having the XCM switch on the back of the tv cos of the short cables and it was a problem to switch sources. This however has a good length on the cable from the box to the tv, so i can have it on the other side of the component input on the tv (I have a 26"). And you connect your consoles cables into it which gives you no extra hassle with not reaching due to short cables. Maybe this is obvious but im mentioning it anyways.
I recommend this box. It still does its job. If it breaks i will most probably get the same one as it is quite cheap.

Works Great and Cheap This works flawlessly with no noticable quality difference with PS3, BlueRay Player, and HD Camcorder. Great product. Great Value.

You get what you pay for The box works as described but the build quality is very poor- one set of cable inputs was loose from the outsert and requires a bit of tinkering to work properly. Excellent value for money but if you're looking for a product that will last the test of time, this isn't it.

White lines flickering Connected my Wii to this box and there are white lines going up/down on my screen. Wii works fine when connected directly to the HDTV. This product is a waste of money...

Great little gadget! Got my xbox 360, Wii and PS2 connected through it and there is absolutely no loss or degradation of picture quality as shown on my Sony Bravia. I have to say that for all my consoles I use only official component cables so that also probably helps. Those that complain of a flickering picture, the problem is definately with their own setup and nothing to do with this component box.

Great YPbPr PowerBox Really good little box!
very good pic. quality, don't lose anything.
perfect for those like me who had more than 1 component device to plug into an HD tv.
no to small, not to big.
great!

Works perfectly! Thought i'd add a review now as i've been using my one for more than a year now. Its worked perfectly since the day I connected it, picture quality has no differences from a direct connection at all.
ford_mad2004(1) on 17, Feb. 2008 01:35 (HKT)
great If you have more than one console and only 1 component socket on your tv (BUY THIS) you wont be let down, the same picture and very easy to swich, both wii and ps3 have very clear imgs, well worth the money....

Flickering Result on LCD TV. I plug my PS2 along with my Wii into this device, both consoles use component cable.
But the result is flickering on my LCD TV, either if I use PS2 or Wii.
Well, I expect better...

Perfect For The Price !! Hi, I'm using this Box with DVD Player+Playstation3+Wii and the picture quality is ok with all these devices. My TV has only 1 component input;but this box multiplies the input X 3 :)) A must have,if you need !!
edotea2001(2) on 11, Oct. 2007 22:21 (HKT)
Great price but not so great result I plug my PS2 and Wii in it, and connect it to my LCD TV. But the picture became flickering. I don't know why.

Great item for it's price Works without any image quality problems with my DVD (576p) and Xbox 360 at 720p resolution.

No title Great product, absolutely no image distortion while connecting a device to this box.
I have a Wii and a Xbox360 connected to it, and haven't noticed any loss of quality.
The only downside is the relatively short cable coming out of the box to the tv... (-1 star for that)
kash538(1) on 04, May. 2007 07:47 (HKT)
IT WORKS! Just got it and it works great...no video distortion or anything...Makes things so much easier!

Not Really Happy I have My Xbox 360, Wii (with official cables) and a Progressive scan DVD player all hooked up (or did) and the PQ dropped significantly with all equipment. I couldn't even watch a DVD the flickering was really bad. Not too bad now that I only have the 360 & Wii plugged in, although there is flickering. I would definately give this a miss!
chadseip(1) on 22, Feb. 2007 05:27 (HKT)
For the $$$ how can you complain Got it. It works great. Unless you're anal and need gold connectors etc. you're looking at a couple of hundres dollars. This gets it done for only a few bucks.

The price is ok but of course ... ... there's no interference shielding inside and this could be a problem. Well, it seems it is a problem for me at least :(
I've plugged in both my Wii and my PS2. The signal of my Wii is perfect (good MadCatz cable) but when I switch to the PS2 (mediocre Blaze cable) there's a lot of snow effect ...
The PS2 component cable works very well when plugged directly to my plasma TV but it shows this noise when pluggeto to this box. It seem there's some interference that comes from the box itself ... any clue? Should I try to shield the box or the cable terminal with some tinfoil?

great product works perfectly with my lcd samsung 32r51b coupled with xbox 360 and ps2 (yuv). I highly recommend this cool stuff ;)

Works with no problems for me Got the box today & for the price its very good. the next type of box thta does the same sort of job is £20.
On my setup I have no problems at all, but if you did interference wrap it in tin foil. I have used this for a xbox 360 & a Wii.

Amazing device Bought one, just arrived - couldnt be happier. Xbox and PS2 now running clear as a bell (PS2 is especially noticable - xbox was already hooked up to component). No apparent degredation in picture quality (comapred to my xbox plugged directly into TV). cant wait for my wii Component cables to arrive now!

Received in 5 days !!! I'm in France, so its really fast shipping !
The item is great, my PS2 YUV, X360 YUV are well plug with this BOX, I'm waiting for my Wii YUC cable to arrive and everything will be okay :D
The image isn't worser with this box that's a point that others can't compete.

Works okay... I've got a DVD player, a Nintendo Wii, and a Sony Playstation 2 plugged into this switchbox right now, and when the switch is set to the DVD player or the Wii, I get a greenish "haze" on the right side of the screen. (When set to the PS2, the signal's perfectly fine.) Once I pop in a DVD or game, the haze is impossible to see, except during some letterboxed movies. It's very strange; I figured it was some kind of interference at first, so I tried moving devices around, but to no avail. I tried switching the cables around to different ports on the switchbox; again, no dice. And just to be sure...I tried plugging the cables directly into the TV, and saw no haze then. It's got something to do with the switchbox, but like I said before, it only happens with the DVD player and Wii, no matter which port they're plugged into; it makes no sense!
Regardless, it's still a decent switchbox, especially for the low price.

One of those bizarre products You get these kinds of things from time to time - products that're absurdly cheap, but do exactly what they say on the tin with very little problem. This is one of those products.
The only (and I must stress only) problem is that this box doesn't have any interference shielding. Whenever my boiler or freezer - which're quite close to my TV and this box - click on, a purple line flickers on the current frame. My Wifi doesn't seem to affect it though, and so far it seems to be only the two aforementioned things in my house that cause this.
For how ridiculously cheap this thing is, it's pretty much a non-issue for me. I'd gladly buy another.

Yep, it works Absolutely no noticeable drop in quality on my Samsung LCD..cannot fault.

No title Great product! This little box is great. Works pretty well. A great solution if you have only one component imput at our TV set!

Thanks to Play-Asia.com for the great quality!

Excellent Product This is a great low cost solution for a lack of component inputs and with no loss of signal quality.
lunacy988(1) on 14, Jan. 2006 22:22 (HKT)
Great! Received it today and it works fine with my PS2 and XBOX. So far there doesn't seems to be any quality loss when passing the signal through this gadget even for 480p and 720p games to my SONY HDTV.
Highly recommended!

Does what it says... This box is great. It does what it is supposed to and I've noticed no signal degradation. And it's dirt cheap compared to others.
YeaPal(1) on 21, Jan. 2005 16:00 (HKT)
Very Good. A lot of people will say that Component Switch boxes aren't any good because you lose quality etc etc..
That's all a crock. There is ZERO quality loss. I'd recommend this switch box to anyone wanting to use more than 1 thing on component.
awss(2) on 19, Jul. 2004 12:12 (HKT)
Excellent I just got the YPbPr Power Box today and it is perfect. There is no loss of Audio or Video Quality at all and now I can switch between my PS2 and XBOX at the flick of a switch.
Well worth the price.A+

This item is well worth the price...... Just a quick note to say that this box is great. I have priced several splitters like this and the was the most reasonably priced item available. Highly recommended!
