Arashi's new single Truth carries the theme song of TBS's friday night drama - Maou (Demon Lord). The studio adopted the Korean drama and remade it for Japanese audiences.
Like all other Arashi members who have starred in leading roles in popular dramas, the group's leader Ohno Satoshi is making his debut in soap operas with this drama. He plays a generous lawyer with a hidden agenda. It is a drama that mixes suspense and occult together, with revenge as a main theme, psychometry and tarot cards are scattered around in the series in wonderful proportions.
While Hanayori Dango features cheerful and relaxed songs such as One Love, to suit the dark, nerve wreaking atmosphere of Maou, Truth is a fast paced dance number which carries a force that speeds up the listener's heart beat.
