Whilst arguably not as good as SPL, Flash Point is still an entertaining movie if you are a fan of the martial arts/action genre as some of the action/fight sequences in it are very well done. However, like an earlier reviewer stated, Donnie Yen's acting and character for that matter, is somewhat lacking in personality, depth and believability. The plot itself is also generic and cliched. Nonetheless, assuming you do not go into an action movie with high expectations on the acting and plot, you are likely to find this enjoyable for what it is.
