A Bridge Too Far is based on the battles of WWII, and recreated on actual battlefield locations. Specifically, it focuses on Operation Market Garden, a scheme setout supposedly to end early the Germans' reign of terror, yet a combination of factors leads to disaster beyond the Allies darkest fears. It boasts an incredible ensemble cast including Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, Sir Laurence Olivier and Robert Redford.
