Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. lead an ensemble cast in "Tropic Thunder", an action comedy about a group of self-absorted actors who set out to make the most expensive war film. After ballooning costs force the studio to cancel the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast into the jungles of Southeast Asia, where they encounter real bad guys.
Great movie, great extras The movie itself has been reviewed elsewhere so suffice to say it's a great comedy. As for the Blu-ray, it's an amazing transfer and looks every bit as good as you'd want especially in the action scenes.
The real gems here are the extra features which include ad-libbed scenes from the actors, behind the scenes, a fake making-of documentary and cast interviews. There's hours of content here and more available through BD-live
