Secret Code is the theme song of 33 Tantei, a Fuji telebi drama shown every Saturday night. It's been a while since Kinki Kids, one of Johnny's bestselling boy bands released a new single and interestingly, its been a while since Doumoto Tsuyoshi, one of the duo plays a detective.
One of the most memorable roles Tsuyoshi played throughout his career as an actor is the high school detective Kindaichi Hajime back in the 90s. It has been a decade since he has graduated from the role, but the detective element is so deeply grounded in his star persona that he simply shines as this new character, an eccentric owner of a detective agency.
The song is a fast paced, fun, energetic but slightly nostalgic piece that goes well with the furnishing of the detective office in the drama. Reassess the charms of the matured Kinki Kids and the grown up teen detective.
Aside from the theme song, this CD single comes with the theme song of the commercial for an Asahi drink, so experience the excitement and the relaxation in one package.
